Common questions about Mercuryo

Mercuryo review: where can a wallet's users sell crypto?

Mercuryo settles sales in EUR, USD and GBP only. Selling is closed to customers in the UK, and US customers cannot withdraw to a card. Users who want their own currency paid to a bank or mobile money account need another route, such as the Unigox widget.

What are Mercuryo's fees for buying and selling?

Mercuryo's own fee is up to 5.5% on card purchases (minimum €1), up to 3% on bank transfer purchases and up to 3.95% on sales (minimum €4). Outside EUR it adds 0.25% to 1%, plus any partner infrastructure fee and a spread in the rate. On Unigox, the Unigox fee and any sell markup the partner sets sit inside the rate the user sees before confirming.

How does Mercuryo's API compare with the Unigox widget?

Mercuryo offers a widget, an iFrame, an SDK and an API, with a support manager during integration. The Unigox Crypto widget is one embed code with your widget key and no backend work. For payouts run from your own server, Unigox has a separate Payments API.

Can a wallet run Mercuryo and Unigox side by side?

Yes. Keep Mercuryo for card purchases and for sales in EUR, USD or GBP, and add the Unigox widget for cash-outs in local currency. Users verify with Unigox before their first trade and sell from their Unigox Wallet, so they move their USDT or USDC there first.
