Alchemy Pay alternative: payouts its off-ramp does not list
Where Alchemy Pay's off-ramp lists no payout, Unigox is an Alchemy Pay alternative for the sell side: users cash out to mobile money or a local bank. Keep Alchemy Pay for card purchases, token listings and branded cards.
When Unigox fits better than Alchemy Pay
Your users cash out to mobile money
A sell on Unigox pays out to a mobile money account or a bank account, depending on the currency. The off-ramp table in Alchemy Pay's docs lists payouts to cards and bank accounts, and none to mobile money.
See the Payments APIAlchemy Pay's bank payout in your currency is paused
Alchemy Pay's off-ramp table marks bank payouts in most of its currencies, EUR, GBP, BRL and MXN among them, as under temporary maintenance.
You want the ramp on your site with no server work
The Unigox widget is an embed code and your widget key. Alchemy Pay's page mode needs every link signed with your secret key, and its API accepts calls only from server IP addresses you whitelist before launch.
You want to set your own margin on sells
You choose a widget markup on sells, paid in crypto to your partner wallet as each sell completes. Alchemy Pay's docs describe a merchant commission rebate, reported in webhooks once the feature is enabled, and publish no rate. Its ramp link parameters have no field for a partner markup.
When to stay with Alchemy Pay
Your users buy by card or Apple Pay
Alchemy Pay takes Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay in USD, EUR and many other currencies, and local methods such as Pix in Brazil and SPEI in Mexico.
You issue a token and want it on the ramp
Token issuers can ask Alchemy Pay to list their token, with liquidity from Binance, KuCoin, OKX, Uniswap V2 or PancakeSwap V2, or from the issuer itself, with prices from the issuer's own API. The Unigox widget trades USDT and USDC only.
You want branded crypto cards for your users
Alchemy Pay sells white-label crypto cards, virtual or physical, that businesses and token issuers give to their users for spending.
Your users are in the United States
Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, while Alchemy Pay's terms of use list two US business partners, Coinme and Sphere, under US law.
Alchemy Pay vs Unigox for platforms
| Topic | Alchemy Pay | Unigox |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | An on-ramp and off-ramp that platforms embed, a crypto payment gateway for merchants, white-label crypto cards and NFT checkout. | A Crypto widget your users buy and sell stablecoins in, and a Payments API that runs payouts and collections from your backend. |
| Integration | Page mode by redirect or iframe, with a signed link. A standard API for buy orders only. A native API for your own screens, open after its assessment and only with a PCI DSS certificate. Android and iOS SDKs. | Widget: the embed code with your widget key, no backend. Payments API: REST calls from your server, behind screens you design. |
| How users pay | Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus local bank, QR, e-wallet and mobile money methods in some countries. Its table marks several local methods as under temporary maintenance. | Bank transfer or mobile money, paid to the P2P merchant or payment business that takes the trade. |
| How users get paid | To a Visa or Mastercard in EUR or USD, by USD overseas transfer, or by bank transfer. Its table marks most bank payout rows as under temporary maintenance. No mobile money. From 20 to 5,000 USD equivalent per order. | To their own bank account or mobile money account, in the currencies that can be sold on Unigox when the order is placed. |
| Your revenue | A merchant commission, reported per order once the rebate feature is enabled for you. The rate is not published; the merchant dashboard lists commission on successful orders older than three days. | Widget: a 20% share of the Unigox fee on every completed trade, plus your own markup on sells, paid in crypto when the sell completes. Payments API: a percentage fee you set on each completed order. |
| Fees your users see | Not published. An onboarded partner reads a percentage and a fixed fee per payment method from its fee query, and users see the fee during checkout. | In the widget, the Unigox fee sits inside the rate. Each Payments API quote lists the rate, the Unigox fee, your fee and the total. |
| Testing before launch | After KYB, a sandbox that mocks only cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay in USD or EUR. Other payment methods are tested in production, with test accounts whitelisted by email first. | After KYB and setup, a Payments API sandbox at its own address, with the same endpoints as production. |
| Identity checks | Users verify in Alchemy Pay's flow, or a partner on Sumsub shares a completed check. Its off-ramp table asks for the first KYC level on every payout method, from the first dollar. | Widget users verify their identity with Unigox before their first trade, at any amount. Through the Payments API, an eligible Sumsub or Persona check can be reused. |
| Regulation | Users contract with Everest Ocean s.r.o. (Czech Republic), Golden Alpha Capital Pty Ltd (Australia) or Alchemy Pay AG (Switzerland), by where they live and which service they use. Its terms also list two US business partners, Coinme and Sphere. Each entity works under its own regulatory framework. | Unigox works through two companies: UNIGOX NETWORK CORP. in Canada handles the local-money side and is registered with FINTRAC as a money services business and with the Bank of Canada as a payment service provider; UNIGOX NETWORK CORP. in Panama handles the crypto side, including wallets and escrow. |

Send sells to Unigox, keep buys on Alchemy Pay
Put the embed code where your users sell, or call the Payments API after sandbox tests.
Alchemy Pay competitors: questions
Can Unigox sit next to Alchemy Pay in the same app?
Yes. Keep Alchemy Pay for card purchases and send sells to bank accounts or mobile money through the Unigox widget or the Payments API. Widget users verify with Unigox before their first trade, even if they already passed Alchemy Pay's check.
Who competes with Alchemy Pay?
For ramps that platforms embed: Transak, Banxa, MoonPay, Ramp Network and Onramper, which routes between several of them. For accepting crypto payments: BVNK and BitPay. Unigox is the one to add when your users cash out to mobile money or a local bank. We compare Unigox with Transak, Banxa, Ramp Network, BVNK and BitPay on their own pages.
Read the Transak comparisonWhich Alchemy Pay alternative pays out to mobile money?
Unigox does. In the widget the user picks a mobile money account as the payout; through the Payments API your backend puts it on the payout order. A P2P merchant or payment business then pays the account, in the currencies where Unigox pays out to mobile money.
Does Unigox have a crypto payment gateway like Alchemy Pay's?
Yes, with a different setup. Crypto processing gives each invoice or customer a payment address and sends your system your reference and the amount received when stablecoins arrive. Your own checkout shows the address; there is no hosted payment page like Alchemy Pay's. It runs on major EVM networks, Robinhood Chain, Tron, TON and Solana, and we agree the networks and pricing with you before you start.
See Crypto processingDoes Alchemy Pay publish its fees?
Not on its website. Its docs give an onboarded partner a percentage and a fixed fee per payment method through a fee query, and users see the fee at checkout. On Unigox, the fee is inside the rate that widget users see, and each Payments API quote lists it.
Where are a user's funds while a sell is open?
Widget users sell from their Unigox Wallet. During a trade the crypto sits in an on-chain escrow that Unigox can release only to the buyer or the seller.
Keep Alchemy Pay for buys, add Unigox for sells
Alchemy Pay stays on the buy button. Unigox takes the sells its off-ramp has no payout for, through the Crypto widget or the Payments API.
