A Guardarian alternative for cashing out to local accounts

Guardarian's fiat list names card or AstroPay payouts in most currencies. Unigox is a Guardarian alternative for apps that want USDT and USDC sales paid to local bank or mobile money accounts. Keep Guardarian for card buys and altcoin swaps.

When to stay with Guardarian

  • Your users pay by card, Apple Pay or Revolut Pay

Guardarian's fiat list takes Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay in most of its currencies, Revolut Pay in many and Paysafecard in a few. In the Unigox widget, users pay a P2P merchant or payment business by bank transfer or mobile money.

  • Your users swap altcoins

Guardarian buys, sells and swaps coins such as BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE and Kaspa. The Unigox widget handles USDT and USDC only.

  • Your users are in the United States

Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, while Guardarian serves US customers with Bridge Building Inc., a FinCEN-registered money services business that runs their identity checks and fiat settlement.

Add local cash-outs to a Guardarian setup in three steps

  1. Tell us where your users cash out

Book a call and name the currencies your users sell into, and the ones where Guardarian sends them to a card or AstroPay.

  2. Receive your widget key

We open your partner account and issue the key; you set the sell markup in the partner dashboard.

  3. Place the embed code beside Guardarian's widget

Place the Unigox embed code next to Guardarian's widget, so users who want money in a local account sell their USDT or USDC through Unigox.

Guardarian, its API and Unigox

What does Guardarian do for a crypto wallet or exchange?

Guardarian lets the wallet's users buy, sell and swap crypto without building an exchange: it takes the payment, checks identity, makes the exchange and sends the funds. In most currencies, its fiat list names a card or AstroPay for receiving a sale. For stablecoin sales paid to a local bank or mobile money account, Unigox offers its Crypto widget.

How does the Guardarian API flow differ from Unigox?

With the Guardarian API you sign a contract and take an API token from the partner account. You show an estimate, create the transaction, redirect the user to Guardarian's checkout and follow webhooks. Both widgets skip that work: Guardarian's is an iframe, Unigox's is one embed code. To send payouts from your own server, Unigox has a separate Payments API.

Can an app keep Guardarian and add Unigox for cash-outs?

Yes. Keep Guardarian for card purchases, coin swaps and EUR sales by SEPA, and add the Unigox widget for users selling stablecoins into a local account. They verify with Unigox first and sell from their Unigox Wallet, so the USDT or USDC has to be there.

Add stablecoin cash-outs next to Guardarian

Keep Guardarian's widget for card buys and place the Unigox embed code beside it: book a call for a widget key and choose your sell markup.
