Utorg alternative for cash-outs outside its currency list

Utorg's widget lists no Kenyan shilling. For wallets whose users cash out stablecoins to bank or mobile money in such currencies, Unigox is a Utorg alternative. Keep Utorg for card purchases and Visa cards.

When to stay with Utorg

  • Your users pay by card, Blik or PIX

Utorg's embedded ramp takes cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Open Banking, PIX in Brazil, Blik and MB Way. A Unigox widget user buys by paying a P2P merchant or payment business by a local method such as a bank transfer or mobile money.

  • You want wallets, cards and a ramp under your brand

Utorg's ramp and its embedded MPC wallets take your colours and show no Utorg branding. Utorg also issues Visa cards with Wirex that spend USDC and settles USDC payouts to suppliers. The Unigox widget only buys and sells USDT and USDC, in light or dark styling, and users trade from their own Unigox account and Unigox Wallet.

  • Your users buy bitcoin, ether or SOL

Beside USDC, the coin list Utorg's widget loads has BTC, ETH, POL, SOL and TRX, and its ramp page counts 30+ coins across 14 blockchains. Unigox users can buy and sell only USDT and USDC.

Add local cash-outs to a Utorg integration in three steps

  1. List the currencies Utorg misses

On a call, name the currencies your users ask for that Utorg's widget does not list, and whether they cash out to a bank or to mobile money.

  2. Keep your Utorg contract as it is

Unigox adds a separate partner account and widget key. Your sell markup is set in the Unigox partner dashboard.

  3. Route each user to the right widget

Card buyers and the currencies Utorg lists stay on its ramp. Users selling for a currency outside that list open the Unigox widget, verify, and sell from their Unigox Wallet.

Utorg and Unigox questions

What does Utorg sell to businesses?

Four products: an on-ramp and off-ramp that runs inside the partner's app, embedded MPC wallets, Visa cards that spend stablecoins, and USDC settlements for paying contractors and suppliers. UTORG LABS HOLDING LTD in Abu Dhabi owns the site, and integration starts with KYB and a signed contract.

What does Utorg charge a partner?

Utorg publishes no ramp price; its pages ask businesses to contact sales. For settlements it quotes a flat €0.02 to €0.20 per transaction, with volume tiers. In the Unigox widget the fee is part of the rate the user accepts, and the partner earns 20% of the Unigox fee plus its own sell markup.

Which Utorg competitor pays out where its widget cannot?

The Unigox Crypto widget, when your users hold USDT or USDC and want local money in a bank or mobile money account, in a currency with live offers on Unigox. Each sale is matched with a P2P merchant or payment business, which pays the user. Utorg's widget lists no Kenyan, Ugandan or Tanzanian shilling, Ghanaian cedi or CFA franc.

Do users who passed Utorg's KYC verify again on Unigox?

Yes. Unigox runs its own identity check before a user's first trade, at any amount, whatever checks the user passed in Utorg's widget. Users then sell from their Unigox Wallet, so they first send their USDT or USDC there.

Cover currencies that the Utorg widget lacks

Book a call to get a widget key and set your sell markup. Utorg stays in place for card buyers and the currencies it already lists.
