The best crypto payment gateway depends on the job
There is no single best crypto payment gateway for every business. BitPay and Coinbase Business settle store sales, NOWPayments and CoinPayments take many coins, BTCPay Server runs on your own server, and Unigox suits repeat stablecoin top-ups.
Which gateway suits which business
An online shop that wants fiat in the bank: BitPay
BitPay has plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Wix, BigCommerce and WHMCS, publishes its fee tiers, and pays out every business day to a bank in one fiat currency, in crypto, or both.

Payment links, invoices and checkouts settle in USDC in your Coinbase Business account, which can pay out to your bank automatically. It is open to companies in the US and Singapore.
Read the Coinbase Business comparisonMany coins: NOWPayments or CoinPayments
NOWPayments lists 350+ coins with auto-conversion and crypto mass payouts; CoinPayments lists 40+ coins with hosted invoices and a sandbox after sign-up. Both list a 1% payment fee before volume discounts.
Read the NOWPayments comparisonBitcoin with no company in between: BTCPay Server
BTCPay Server is free, open-source software you host yourself or leave to a third-party host you trust. Payments go straight to your own wallet with no transaction fee, and help comes from its community, with paid support from some members, not a support desk.
A company in the United States: BitPay or Coinbase Business
Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, while BitPay lists money transmitter licences by US state and Coinbase Business serves US companies.
When Unigox crypto processing fits
Customers top up the same account again and again
BitPay invoices and Coinbase Business checkouts each take one payment, and a reusable Coinbase payment link is one link for everyone. With Unigox a customer keeps one address, and every top-up reaches your system with their customer reference. NOWPayments and CoinPayments offer lasting addresses too. On CoinPayments the funds stay at each permanent address until a dashboard threshold, a spend or an API call sweeps them, at a transfer fee per address each time plus a one-time activation fee.
Your customers hold USDT on Tron or TON
BitPay's payment list has no Tron or TON, and Coinbase Business takes USDT on Ethereum only. NOWPayments takes USDT on both Tron and TON; CoinPayments takes USDT on Tron but lists none on TON, where Toncoin is marked under maintenance. Unigox takes stablecoins on Tron and TON next to Solana, Robinhood Chain and the major EVM networks.
Your own checkout, payable on several networks
Hosted invoices at NOWPayments, CoinPayments and BitPay let the payer choose a coin on the gateway's own page. If you show payment details on your own screen, a Unigox invoice can carry addresses on several networks under the same reference, so the payment is booked to one record whichever network the customer uses.
Your users also cash out in local currency
A gateway settles to you. If your platform also pays users out to their own bank or mobile money account, the Unigox Payments API does that from USDT or USDC in your partner wallet, as a separate integration.

Questions about choosing a crypto payment gateway
What is the best crypto payment gateway for a business?
The one built for your job. For store sales paid out to a bank, BitPay. For USDC in one account in the US or Singapore, Coinbase Business. For many coins from one dashboard, NOWPayments or CoinPayments. For bitcoin with no company in between, BTCPay Server. For customers who top up in stablecoins again and again, Unigox.
Which crypto payment providers pay out to a bank account?
BitPay pays a bank every business day in one fiat currency. Coinbase Business can withdraw USDC to your bank, with a fee for converting to dollars. NOWPayments sends EUR to a SEPA account through a partner, and BTCPay Server needs a plugin for fiat. Unigox crypto processing credits stablecoins to your Unigox balance.
Which crypto payment platforms accept USDT on Tron or TON?
NOWPayments lists USDT on both Tron and TON, CoinPayments on Tron, and BTCPay Server takes it on Tron through a plugin. BitPay's list has neither network, and Coinbase Business takes USDT on Ethereum only. Unigox accepts stablecoins on both Tron and TON.
Read the CoinPayments comparisonWhat do the top crypto payment gateways charge?
BitPay publishes 2% plus 25 cents per payment under $500,000 a month, falling with volume. NOWPayments and CoinPayments list 1%, with network fees on top at NOWPayments. Coinbase Business shows its fee after you log in. BTCPay Server charges nothing, but you host it. Unigox agrees pricing with you on a call.
Is the best crypto payment processor one you host yourself?
Only if you can run it. BTCPay Server takes no fee and sends payments straight to your wallet, but you keep the server up and there is no support desk. A third-party host can run it for you, which BTCPay's docs say means trusting that host. A hosted gateway costs a fee and does that work for you.
Can I add Unigox without dropping my current gateway?
Yes. The integrations are separate, so your current gateway can keep store checkout and settlement while Unigox takes repeat stablecoin top-ups. We agree the setup on a call, and you show the new addresses only to the customers you move.
