Bitnob alternative for business payouts and collections in stablecoins

Unigox is a Bitnob alternative: customer bank and mobile money payments land in your partner wallet as USDT or USDC, and payouts leave it with your own fee. Keep Bitnob for cards, Bitcoin and unverified recipients.

When to stay with Bitnob

  • Your recipients will not verify with Unigox

Bitnob creates a payout customer as a plain record, with no identity check. On Unigox each customer passes an identity check before a first order, though an eligible Sumsub or Persona check can be reused.

  • You need cards, Bitcoin or per-payout funding

Bitnob issues virtual cards, sends Bitcoin and Lightning payments, and lets you fund one payout at a time by paying a Bitcoin, Lightning, USDT or USDC address it generates, so you hold no balance.

  • Your company is in the United States

Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, while Bitnob offers to move business money "from the United States to anywhere" and pays USD there by ACH and wire.

Add Unigox next to Bitnob in three steps

  1. Get your company approved

Book a call to agree your markets and setup, then pass Unigox KYB with your company documents. Nothing carries over from your Bitnob account; API credentials are issued once Unigox approves the company.

  2. Wire up quotes and webhooks

Your developers build payouts, collections and customer identity checks against api-staging.unigox.com, using the Postman collection and the Python, JavaScript or C# signing examples.

  3. Top up and go live

Move USDT or USDC into your partner wallet and switch to api.unigox.com. Bitnob can keep your cards and the payouts you fund per transaction.

Questions on Bitnob

Can a Bitnob alternative also collect payments?

Yes, if your customers pay by bank transfer or mobile money and you want USDT or USDC in return: Unigox releases the stablecoins to your partner wallet once their local payment is confirmed. Bitnob documents local-currency collections as virtual bank account numbers that credit a local-currency balance, and takes USDT and USDC at deposit addresses.

Which Bitnob alternative lets us add our own fee to payouts?

Each Unigox Payments API quote can carry a percentage fee you set. The quote shows it next to the rate, the Unigox fee and the total, and your fee is paid to your partner wallet when the order completes; an order that does not complete is not charged. Bitnob's fees page describes the fee Bitnob returns on each quote and does not mention a fee of your own.

Can we use Bitnob and Unigox at the same time?

Yes. They are separate integrations with separate balances: keep Bitnob for cards, Bitcoin and per-payout funding, and send the payouts and collections you settle in USDT or USDC through Unigox. Your company passes Unigox KYB and each customer verifies with Unigox.
