Revolut Business alternative for crypto firms and client accounts
Some crypto firms cannot open a Revolut Business account, and some platforms need accounts in their customers' names. Unigox is a Revolut Business alternative for both. For cards, expense tools and taking customer payments, stay with Revolut Business.
When Unigox fits better than Revolut Business
Your company deals or trades crypto
Revolut Business does not accept crypto exchanges, brokers, dealers, ramp services or trading firms, and says money from dealing or trading crypto can't be paid into the account. Unigox reviews crypto companies, asks for a licence or registration (or a legal note on why you need none) and checks where your funds come from.
Your customers need accounts
A Revolut Business account can't hold or move money that belongs to your clients. After your KYB, you can request EUR and GBP accounts in your customers' own names; each holder passes their own check, and the services are agreed with you.
Your company is outside the UK, EEA and US
Revolut's help centre takes companies registered in the UK, the EEA or the US. Unigox takes applications from companies registered elsewhere, outside the countries its Terms of Service exclude.
You want a team to run a conversion
Revolut X is an exchange where you place market and limit orders yourself. With OTC deals, you agree each conversion between EUR or GBP and stablecoins with our team, at a fee set before the first deal, and we carry it out.

Your company is in the United States
Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, and Revolut's help centre lists US-registered companies as eligible for Revolut Business.

Revolut Business alternatives: questions
Is a Revolut Business alternative right for a crypto firm?
Yes, if Revolut turns the firm away. Revolut Business does not accept crypto exchanges, brokers, dealers, ramp services or trading firms, but it does accept NFT platforms, regulated wallets, blockchain developers and companies that accept or pay in crypto. A firm it turns away can apply to Unigox for EUR, GBP and USD accounts with stablecoin balances in the same portal.
Can I keep Revolut Business and add Unigox?
Yes, if Revolut accepts your company: keep it for cards, expenses and customer payments, and use Unigox for customer accounts, stablecoin swaps or OTC deals. Revolut's help centre says money from dealing or trading crypto can't be paid into a Revolut Business account, so ask Revolut before you move converted funds there.
How much does Revolut Business cost compared with Unigox?
Revolut Business UK plans cost £10 (Basic), from £30 (Grow) and from £90 (Scale) a month; Enterprise is priced on request, and transfers and exchange over the plan's allowance cost extra. Unigox agrees a pricing plan with your company and confirms it before you commit, so compare the two on your own monthly volumes.
Is there an alternative to Revolut Business outside Europe?
Yes, for companies registered outside the UK, the EEA and the US, which Revolut's help centre does not list as eligible. Such a company can apply to Unigox for company accounts. We do not serve the United States, and we can't accept a company, or anyone named in its application, from a country our Terms of Service exclude or that is under sanctions.
Can Unigox replace Revolut X for converting company funds?
For conversions between EUR or GBP and stablecoins, yes, through OTC deals: you give our team the currencies, amount and destination, confirm the deal at the fee agreed before the first deal, and the team carries it out. Revolut X suits a company that wants to place its own market and limit orders, with 0% maker fees and taker fees of up to 0.09% that fall with trading volume.

Airwallex is the closest, since it is also a business account with cards and many currencies. Our BVNK and Transak comparisons cover stablecoin payments and a crypto widget for business.
