Airwallex alternative for companies paid in stablecoins
Keep Airwallex for cards, expenses and many currencies in one account. For companies paid in stablecoins, or paying suppliers in China, Unigox is an Airwallex alternative.
When Unigox fits better than Airwallex
Your company is paid in stablecoins
Move stablecoins in from your Unigox Wallet, hold them next to your EUR, GBP and USD accounts, and swap them into euros or pounds to pay from the same portal. Airwallex's docs describe stablecoin payouts only: USDC on Ethereum, in early access and by API.
Your country is not on Airwallex's list
Airwallex cannot onboard companies registered outside its list of countries, which leaves out South Africa, Kenya and Pakistan. A company registered outside Europe can apply to Unigox; after the company check we confirm which accounts it can open.
You buy from a factory in China
Airwallex's local route into mainland China is for companies registered there, sellers exporting from China and, on request, buyers from e-commerce or small-ticket B2B sellers. Other buyers pay by SWIFT, and the factory completes its own declarations. Unigox pays the invoice to the supplier's bank in mainland China, Hong Kong or Singapore after you verify your identity, funded in local currency or stablecoins.
See Pay suppliers in ChinaYour app pays its users from stablecoins
With the Payments API, your app pays users to their bank or mobile money account and collects from them the same ways. You fund payouts in advance with USDT or USDC in your partner wallet, and collections arrive there in USDT or USDC.
When to stay with Airwallex
You want cards and expenses in one account
Airwallex puts accounts with local bank details in many currencies, company and employee cards, expense management, bill pay and online card payments in one place.
Your China payments fit Airwallex's local route
If your company is registered in mainland China, sells goods exported from there, or buys from an e-commerce or small-ticket B2B seller there with an online presence, Airwallex can switch on local transfers into mainland China, which arrive in 0 to 1 business days.
You want a published price list
Airwallex publishes its plans and conversion fees for anyone to read. Unigox sets a pricing plan with each company and confirms it before the company commits.
Your company is in the United States
Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, where Airwallex is authorised as a money transmitter in the states it lists.

Airwallex competitors: your questions
Which competitors of Airwallex hold stablecoins?
Unigox does: stablecoin balances sit next to your EUR, GBP and USD company accounts in one portal, and you swap them into euros or pounds there. For stablecoin payouts and collections rather than company accounts, our BVNK comparison is the closer match.
Read the BVNK comparisonIs there an Airwallex alternative if my country is not listed?
Yes. Companies registered in South Africa, Kenya or Pakistan, which are not on Airwallex's list, can apply to Unigox. Each company passes a KYB check first, and we confirm which accounts and payment methods it can use before setup.
What are Airwallex's fees, and how does Unigox set its prices?
Airwallex's UK Explore and Grow plans cost £0 to £49 a month before VAT. Conversion costs 0.5% over the interbank rate for major currencies and 1% for others, and a SWIFT transfer costs £10 to £20. Unigox agrees a pricing plan for each company's accounts before it commits, and each Payments API quote shows the Unigox fee before you confirm.
Does Unigox have an API like Airwallex?
Yes, for payouts and collections. For a payout, your backend gets a quote, creates the order and funds it in USDT or USDC; a collection pays USDT or USDC into your partner wallet. Signed webhooks report each step, and developers test in a sandbox after the company check.
