Young Platform alternative for selling USDC you were sent

The Young Wallet takes no USDC deposits, and the DeFi Wallet will not sell USDC for fiat. Unigox is a Young Platform alternative for USDC sent from another wallet: a buyer pays your bank. For coins or staking, stay.

When to stay with Young Platform

  • You buy, hold and stake coins

The Young Wallet holds Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and the other listed coins in custody under Young Platform's MiCAR authorisation. Moneyboxes buy on a schedule, and ETH, SOL, TIA and ATOM can be staked. Unigox trades stablecoins only.

  • Your salary and card run through it

The Young payment account takes salary payments and bank transfers and shows pagoPA alerts, and the Young Card pays cashback in YNG. Young Platform offers the account as an agent of TPPay, an Italian e-money institution.

  • You hold YNG in a Club

Clubs take 5% to 90% off Young Platform's fees, depending on how much YNG you keep in them: from around 130 YNG for the first level to around 18,000 YNG for Platinum.

Young Platform and Unigox for USDC paid from outside

Young Platform shows its sale fee apart from a spread built into its firm price; on Unigox there is only the rate. Compare the euros that land in your bank on the same day, not the headline figures.

Sell USDC from another wallet on Unigox

  1. Verify while the USDC waits

Sign up on Unigox and complete identity verification before the first trade; the USDC can wait in its current wallet meanwhile.

  2. Send the USDC to Unigox

Copy your Unigox deposit address, check the network the deposit screen names, and send the USDC from the wallet or exchange that holds it. It does not have to become another coin first, as it would on the way to a Young Platform sale.

  3. Name your bank account and sell

Pick the currency, add the account the buyer should pay and accept the rate. Confirm once the money shows in your bank, or open a dispute if it does not arrive in time.

Young Platform alternative: what people ask

Young Platform will not take my USDC. Where can I sell it?

Unigox. You send the USDC in, and a P2P merchant buys it and pays your bank account. Young Platform takes no USDC into the Young Wallet, and in its DeFi Wallet USDC can be bought with euros but not sold for them.

What are Young Platform's fees for selling crypto?

Its fees page lists 1.99 EUR for orders up to 50 EUR, 2.49 EUR up to 100 EUR and 1.89% on larger orders, on top of a spread built into the firm price. Sending the euros to your bank costs another 1.99 EUR. Unigox shows no separate fee: it is part of the rate you accept.

Can I send USDC to Young Platform and sell it?

Only into the DeFi Wallet, on Ethereum, and not straight for euros: there the USDC-EUR route is buy only, and USDC cannot move to the Young Wallet. It would first have to be swapped into a coin both wallets support, such as ETH, then moved and sold.

Who authorises Young Platform, and does that cover the DeFi Wallet?

Consob and Banca d'Italia: Young Platform S.p.A. in Turin is authorised by them as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCAR, and the Young Wallet is custody under that authorisation. The DeFi Wallet is not covered: Young Platform says it falls outside MiCAR and its protections.

Young Platform's route is a swap into another coin, its sale fee and the 1.99 EUR bank withdrawal. The Unigox rate for your amount already has its fee in it.
